Salt & Light Tutoring

Salt & Light Tutoring exists to help meet the educational, social and spiritual needs of elementary-aged students. Our desire is to share the Good News through word and deed, as we create a welcoming, transformative after school community for students and their families.

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet.


You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

A Whole Student Approach

In addition to academic support, students who participate in Salt & Light Tutoring will have the opportunity to participate in an after school apologetics and worldview class. In this class, they will learn how to further pursue Jesus, defend their faith in love, and make a difference in the world. We believe it's important for young believers need to know why the Bible is trustworthy, how to have confidence in their faith, and how to share their faith in the way of Jesus!

We understand life has many elements, so we'll also do whatever we can to connect students and families with other helpful community resources that might be beneficial. We want to see these students become all God created them to be.
